Synopsis of Cuestión de elegancia
Who would have thought that a book would affect Louise Canova's life in such a way. Over thirty years old, with a job as a box office clerk in a small London theatre and married to a man who, if he ever had feelings for her, no longer remembers, Louise tries to escape the daily tedium with two very different hobbies: sleeping and browsing in small bookstores. Thus, in one of these expeditions he finds a curious volume entitled Elegance, written in the 1960s by Madame Geneviève Antoine Dariaux, an expert in French high society fashion. Then, as if by magic, from the yellow pages emerges the wisdom that illuminates Louise's life.
