Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg

Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg is a Swedish writer who has seventeen books to her credit in different genres, including popular science, illustrated, children's and historical fiction.
Her characteristic style, which shows an unusual subtlety, capacity to surprise and humour, intensifies the special charm of her books. In 1999 she won the prestigious Widding Prize as best writer of historical fiction and popular science. She has worked as a journalist and marine archaeologist, and is currently a writer.
