Synopsis of Las huellas en el desierto
Lebanese Khalid and Noura manage to escape from Turkey, but upon arrival in Lebanon, he is convicted of espionage and hanged in a public square. Noura then flees to Cairo where she meets Salah, her late husband’s partner in the liberation movement, who must soon leave for Jordan with an army under the command of Lawrence of Arabia to attack the Gulf of Aqaba. It will be in Cairo that Noura will meet Rania and the group of women who usually meet in her café. While the men will discover the high price they must pay for their participation in the Arab Revolt, these women will fight their own war in the arena of family and love.
